Wolfchild Update

POSTED: April 4, 2014

The Supreme Court of the United States recently denied our Writ of Certiorari and consequently, and sadly the case is now over, as we have no other court that we can look to for relief. In other words, once the Supreme Court decided not to hear our appeal from the United States Federal Court of Appeals, which denied the Wolfchild plaintiffs relief; the case is concluded and has been dismissed by the United States Court of Claims – the Court where the case was first filed in 2003.

It has been a long haul for all of us and it is too bad that another tragic incident in this country\’s history ends with absolutely no compensation or other relief for a group of Native Americans whose ancestors bled and died in defense of their traditions and homelands. I hope I have done everything possible as an attorney in this case in my attempt to bring some relief to my clients for the past wrongs heaped upon them and their ancestors by the United States Government.

Remember, as we all say \”what goes around comes around\” and in the end we will prevail.
